Up-to-Date Disk-to-Disk Backup for Exchange Server

The following versions of Microsoft Exchange are supported:

• Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2000

Beginning with release 4.2, we support a fully-integrated VSS-level Exchange agent for Exchange 2010, 2007, and 2003 (a streaming agent for Exchange 2000 is also supported). Release 4.2 Exchange agent supports full and differential backups of mailboxes and public folders, a prior integrity checks of the Exchange infrastructure, integrated point-in-time recover capabilities, and other features.

In addition to the brick-level recovery found in Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007 with respect to not only soft but also hard deletes,  Kroll OnTrack can be used as an option for deeper granular search and restore capabilities.

Integrated Disk-to-Disk Backup for Exchange Server

The solution uses a common Disk-to-Disk backup and recovery engine for providing protection for over 100 different versions of operating systems and applications. This means you can support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Sun Solaris, Novell OES, Novell Netware, Novell GroupWise, Novell eDirectory, Linux, FreeBSD, Apple MacOS X, IBM pSeries/AIX, HP HP-UX, SCO UnixWare, SCO OpenServer, IBM iSeries/OS400, and SGI IRIX on notebooks, PCs, workstations, and servers and on DAS, NAS, or SAN storage.

There are no license limitations for the backup support of different operating systems and applications.

Hyper-V Backup

The Disk-to-Disk backup appliance provides a network-based backup solution for Microsoft Hyper-V enabling enterprise-class data protection and backup and recovery with an appliance designed from the ground-up for small and medium businesses. Up-to-Date Disk-to-Disk Backup for Hyper-V The following versions are supported:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V R2 (Beta)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V

VMware Backup

Colocube enables enterprise-class data protection and backup and recovery for VMware. Up-to-Date D2D Backup for VMware.  

The following distributions and versions of VMware are supported:

• At the VM (Virtual Machine) or GOS (Guest Operating System) level - in other words, our agents can be installed in a virtual machine just as they are installed in a physical machine.
• At the PM (Physical Machine) level, we work with VCB (VMware Consolidated Backup) directly. Additionally at the PM level, VMware and third-party backup products (e.g., VMware Data Recovery virtual appliance, Vizioncore, Veeam, esXpress) are supported. For example, the appliances may be used with VMware Data Recovery as a NAS point for source-level deduplicated backup and we then provide D2D2D rotational archiving as well as electronic vaulting (i.e., replication).
